When Sharla Feldscher first heard Rocco sing, she knew she wanted to
represent him as his publicist. In her Philadelphia-based public
relations firm, she has a pro bono division called “Young People with
Big Hearts,” and Rocco is the perfect fit. Sharla immediately offered
her services to Rocco and his family after witnessing his musical talent
and performing style. When she learned more about The Little Rock
Foundation and his role as ambassador, she was hooked!
Sharla Feldscher Public Relations was launched in 1984
with Sesame Place as its first client. The nation’s only theme park
based on Sesame Street has been a client throughout her company history.
With a variety of clients, including many in the performing arts – Peter
Nero and the Philly Pops, the Merriam Theater and the Mann Center for
the Performing Arts, Sharla has represented some of the most well-known
performers in America today. The author of several books on creative
activities for children, with two of her books published by
HarperCollins and translated into Russian and German, she brings the
ideal experience to Rocco as his publicist.
Like everyone who hears Rocco sing and listens to him
play piano, she believes that he has great potential for stardom. In
other words, she’s become one of his biggest fans!
