Hi again!
We’re all having a great
time in Hollywood! Definitely a dream come true and we didn’t even see the
American Idol Finals yet. Fox got us great seats but I don’t think the
camera will be anywhere near us! (Didn’t want you to be disappointed if
you’re looking for him in the audience. We’re on the 4th row but on the
large, first balcony.)
This is a TV alert:
Rocco will be on the TV
Guide Network tonight, Tuesday May 20 at 7 p.m. on “American Idol Extra”
being interviewed about his favorite David – David Archuleta. Rocco was
adorable. Justin Guarini is the co-host of the pre-American Idol show – so
it was two hometown boys! He even said after Rocco’s interview … this
young man’s dream is to sing at Carnegie Hall!
Then, the next two mornings
(Wed and Thurs) at 8:10 a.m., Rocco will be interviewed LIVE from Nokia
Theater in LA for FOX 29 in Philadelphia. Um, that means we are all waking
up at 4 a.m. so he’s there and ready at 5:10 a.m. LA time!
Well – no one said it was
easy being a star! BUT, it sure is fun and very exciting!

If you are getting this,
you are either a friend of mine (who has heard so much about Rocco for
the last year and a half) OR you are someone who knows Rocco Fiorentino!
As if you need a reminder, Rocco is the adorable (okay, I’m biased!) 11
year old blind jazz singer who wows everyone who hears him sing and
impresses all those who hear him speak on behalf of blind children as
the ambassador of The Little Rock Foundation.
The reason for this is to share the exciting news that
FOX 29 in Philadelphia is sending Rocco to Hollywood to be in the
audience of the finals of American Idol! The people at FOX Network have
also pitched in and gotten us a total of four tickets so Rocco, his mom
Tina, his dad Rocco and his volunteer publicist (lucky me) are all going
to LA! We’ll be there Monday through Thursday – SO look for us in the
audience, along with the thousands of others.
